Balve City Festival 2024 with Sunday shopping - a festival for everyone!
It's finally time again: on September 8, 2024, the traditional "Balver Stadtfest" will take place with Sunday shopping.
On Saturday, September 7, the "Stadtfest Warm-Up" starts at 5 pm with a get-together to which everyone is cordially invited. Two stages, in the Sparkasse festival tent with Veltins Pülleken counter, on the IBS parking lot and on the Volksbank parking lot, will be played. The cover band "Unart" from Siegen and singer-songwriter Lou Dynia with his concert directly from the caravan will provide a first-class musical highlight as a prelude before the city festival is officially opened on Sunday with a colorful supporting program and many surprises.
Look forward to an exciting city festival weekend
On Sunday, September 8, the town festival will be officially opened by Mayor Hubertus Mühling in the Sparkasse festival tent at 11:00 a.m., before the Veltins barrel tapping with music. This will be followed by the traditional senior citizens' coffee drinking event organized by SG Balve-Garbeck, bingo and many other great surprises that await in the Sparkassen festival tent. One of these is a visit from Hettwich vom Himmelsberg.
A special focus of the town festival on Sunday is once again planned for children and young people with numerous attractions and activities as well as a colorful stage program in the area of the town hall. Here the kids and young people will get their money's worth.
The Fux join-in music show, an XXL dragon slide, a meet and greet with PAW Patrol and Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir as well as the final join-in superhero polonaise are already firmly planned. "Tennis for everyone", a city rally for the kids and dance performances by TUS Langenholthausen are also on the organization list, along with many other surprises.
