The gardening season is upon us - with the Open Gardens, you now have the opportunity to open your garden to like-minded people. The organizing team of the Open Gardens in the Ruhrbogen is still looking for people from Balve who would like to open up their little paradise to visitors and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. The project with the participating municipalities of Arnsberg, Balve, Fröndenberg, Hemer, Iserlohn, Menden, Neuenrade and Wickede is entering its 16th round this year. As part of the "Open Garden Gates", gardening enthusiasts will allow interested parties to take a look behind private hedges and gates. Gardens designed with love will be presented. Whether playful, bee-friendly, structured, well thought-out or orchards, slopes, pond landscapes or herb beds - the whole variety of garden design invites you to linger and talk shop.

The event is aimed at hosts who have a passion for plants and would like to share this joy and the charm of their garden with like-minded people. The dates for this season are Sunday, May 12, June 16, August 11 and September 8. On Saturday, September 7, there will be the opportunity to join the gardens of light. These open between 11 am and 6 pm. Registration is now possible digitally at www.gaerten-im-ruhrbogen.de. It is of course also possible to print out and complete a PDF registration form from the website.
